  Meet Pastor Wilkinson

Pastor Jake Wilkinson grew up in Soldotna, Alaska—affectionately nicknamed “Slowdotna” for its quiet pace. After moving to Walla Walla, Washington, Jake experienced a dramatic life change when he prayed for a new start and found God answering that prayer. He earned his undergraduate degree in Theology from Walla Walla University and later completed his Master of Divinity at Andrews University. Jake has served as both a youth pastor and an associate pastor in a medium-sized Washington church. He and his wife, Crystal, have been happily married for 13 years and share a love for hospitality—especially lingering conversations over a cup of tea. Their home is also happily shared with two beloved dogs, Luck and Pippin, who add plenty of joy (and adventure) to family life.

  Welcome to Summit Northwest

Everyone has a story, especially when it comes to God. Some people have a meaningful relationship with God. Some experience only passing thoughts about God while others wrestle with ideas of God that are not so great. At Summit Northwest, we go beyond the easy answers, the weird answers, and the clichés to discover what God really intends for us to learn from the Bible in the 21st century. Maybe you’re skeptical about Christianity or organized church. We get it. So are we. But we invite you to come discover a loving God who is crazy about you.

Our Purpose

To share our loving God with hurting people so they may experience His transforming power in their lives.

At Summit Northwest, we aim to share God’s love by building intentional relationships that lead to discipleship, nurturing community through regular contact, actively helping our neighbors, introducing people to Jesus Christ, and pointing to Him through worship. These five key areas are crucial to our mission of leading hurting people towards experiencing God’s transformative power in their lives.
