Zechariah is almost always overlooked when it comes to the Christmas Story. Probably most people don’t know who he is, or what his connection to Christmas is all about. But Zechariah is a faithful follower of God. He had been looking and praying and praying and looking for the Messiah to come. He almost despaired, but then in his old age he found out that they were going to have a baby. Not the Messiah, but somebody very special. John the Baptist. At the birth of his baby, Zechariah, prophesied.
