Wood for Seniors: Service opportunity: Hundreds of seniors in our area depend on Elderhelp to stay warm during the winter. Come help us November 11 after church as we cut, split, haul and stack firewood for those in need. Sign-ups are available at our worship services. If you have a chainsaw to cut wood, or a truck to haul it and are interested in making deliveries, let us know as well. Wood is located in Hayden (See below for instructions on finding the site) and you'll need your own transportation. We’ll order some pizza so you can refuel while you work. There is no physical address available for the wood yard. However, it is located across the street from 268 W Helen Ave, Hayden, ID. House of Charity: Service opportunity: House of Charity provides much needed resources to the homeless population in Spokane, WA.
